Photo-vocabulary “Services”

Today I will show you some pictures which can help you to find pharmacy, hair-stylist’s or post office in Russia:

“Стоматологический кабинет” [stomatologichesky kabinet] = dental office or dental room.
“Режим работы” [rezhim raboty] = work schedule, working hours. “Работа” [rabota] noun = work (on the picture it’s used in Genetive case).
And then you can see abbreviation of week days:
Пн - “Понедельник” [ponedelnik] = Monday
Вт - “Вторник” [vtornik] = Tuesday
Ср - “Среда” [sreda] = Wednesday
Чт - “Четверг” [chetverg] = Thursday
Пт - “Пятница” [pyatnitsa] = Friday
Сб - “Суббота” [subbota] = Saturday
Вс - “Воскресенье” [voskresenie] =Sunday
In Russia week days are from Monday to Friday and weekend is on Saturday and Sunday.

Here they also provide dentist services: “Стоматология” [stomatologiya] = dentistry.
And in case you need to check your watch or clock you can visit “Ремонт часов” [remont chasov] = clock hospital. “Ремонт” means “repair”. “Часы” [chasy] always plural = watch or clock (here it’s used in Genetive case).

“Парикмахерская” [parikmakherskaya] = hair stylist’s, hairdressing saloon, barbershop.

“Гостиница” [gostinitsa] = hotel
“Центральная” [tsentral'naya] = central (feminine gender)

“Аптечный пункт” [aptechny punkt] = chemist’s shop, pharmacy
“Аптека” [apteka] = pharmacy

“Почта России” [pochta rossii] = Russian post. “Почта” [pochta] = post. “Россия” [rossiya] = Russia (used in Genetive case).

“Касса” [kassa] = ticket office.

Very hard to read, it’s written “Милиция” [militsiya] = militia, police.

Exciting blog. Read a few other of one’s blogged articles and I need to say it’s getting a daily habit of mine to keep coming back looking for new stuff lol. Keep up the excellent work.
